Job summary

The Lee Company is seeking an HVAC technician in Murfreesboro, TN to perform residential maintenance and service at a journeyman level. You will install, repair and maintain a range of equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, heating units and humidity controls, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Qualified candidates have 3-5 years of HVAC install/service experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in HVAC Install/Service.
• EPA Certification.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
• Able to pass background screening and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential HVAC installation, maintenance and service at journeyman level.
• Install, repair and maintain equipment including refrigeration, air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps and humidifiers.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and related electronics.
• Diagnose and repair basic piping systems (copper, plastic, carbon steel).

Summary of Job:

This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service
• EPA Certification
• Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Skills and Abilities:

• Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of system
• Able to troubleshoot and repair basic piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel
• Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques
• Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment
