Job summary

Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems in Traverse City, MI is seeking a Residential New Construction HVAC Install Manager to lead Northwest Michigan operations. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate field teams, manage builder relationships, and ensure installations meet safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong project management and leadership experience in residential HVAC, can read blueprints, and manage schedules and budgets while maintaining excellent customer

Qualifications

• Previous construction project management experience required.
• Residential HVAC installation management or leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and HVAC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, labor resources, and project timelines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with builders, customers, and field personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar construction management software preferred.
• Degree in construction management, project management, or equivalent field experience preferred.
• Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset in a changing construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential HVAC new construction projects from planning through completion.
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with builders, homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents.
• Monitor labor utilization, job costs, budgets, and project profitability.
• Conduct jobsite visits to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and project progress.
• Support field personnel with scheduling, problem solving, and resource allocation.
• Maintain builder and customer relationships throughout the construction process.
• Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact timelines or budgets.
• Ensure projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations.
