Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar is seeking Residential HVAC Maintenance Technicians to perform scheduled tune-ups and inspections, identify issues, and clearly communicate findings to customers. This role is part of Edelman’s technician development track with opportunities to advance as skills grow.

The position offers weekly technical training, a take-home service vehicle, performance-based earnings, and a base pay up to $40/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• HVAC maintenance, service, schooling, or related field experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Solid diagnostic skills for experienced-level placement.
• Professional customer communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Complete residential HVAC tune-ups, maintenance, and inspections.
• Identify equipment wear, inefficiencies, and potential problems.
• Evaluate system condition and communicate findings to customers.
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain quality standards.

Residential HVAC Maintenance Technician

Hiring in:

• Fairbury, IL
• Champaign, IL
• Rockford, IL
• Freeport, IL
• Elkhorn, WI

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour, based on experience

Entry-Level: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Experienced: $26.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, plus a minimal rotating on-call schedule.

Performance Pay: Average technicians earn approximately $2.00-$3.00 more per hour through performance incentives, with top-performing technicians earning approximately $5.00 more per hour.

What We're Looking For

• HVAC maintenance, service, schooling, or related field experience preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Solid diagnostic skills for experienced-level placement
• Professional customer communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving history
• EPA certification or ability to obtain it after starting

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
