Job summary

Call The Bee, part of Apex Service Partners, seeks a Lead HVAC Installer in Connecticut to lead residential projects, install central air, furnaces, heat pumps and ductless systems. You will mentor installers, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high workmanship standards.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in HVAC installation with 2+ years in leadership, a CT D2 license, and strong communication. Expect a competitive $40–$50/hour with a 40-hour+ schedule and possible background checks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC installation experience; at least 2 years in leadership or supervisory role.
• Valid Connecticut D2 license strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for junior installers.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, diagrams and installation manuals.
• Experience using Service Titan or similar software to document job details and customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of HVAC installers, providing guidance, training and support for high-quality workmanship.
• Oversee and perform installation of HVAC systems in residential properties (central AC, furnaces, heat pumps, ductless).
• Conduct system startup procedures and verify functionality per specs.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to ensure proper installation.
• Ensure installations comply with NEC, state and local HVAC regulations and safety policies.
• Conduct final inspections to meet standards and company expectations.
• Record keeping and documentation using Service Titan or similar software.
• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure material availability at job sites.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
