Job summary

T and T Plumbing and Heating in LaOtto, IN is seeking a Residential HVAC Installer to join a locally owned team serving Northeast Indiana and the Fort Wayne area.

You will complete retrofit installations and install heating and cooling equipment per codes, coordinating with customers and other trades to ensure safe, efficient project completion while keeping the work area clean. A valid driver’s license and EPA Universal Certification are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of residential retrofit/changeout installation experience.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Allen County Journeyman License is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential retrofit and HVAC system replacement installations.
• Install heating and cooling equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards.
• Coordinate with installers, customers, and other trades to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Read installation drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to ensure proper system installation.

Residential HVAC Installer

Pay: $30 - $43/hour Depending on Experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

• Minimum of 3 years of residential retrofit/changeout installation experience
• Previous experience leading installation projects preferred
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Allen County Journeyman License is a plus
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills
• Professional communication and strong customer service abilities
• Commitment to producing high-quality workmanship and continuous learning
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• High school diploma or GED

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
