Job summary

Horne Heating and Air Conditioning in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our installation team. This full-time role covers heating and cooling equipment replacements with a Monday–Friday schedule, on-call rotation, and strong earning potential.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for qualified candidates, ongoing training, and opportunities to advance into lead installer roles.

Qualifications

• Two years of residential HVAC installation experience required.
• EPA Universal or EPA Type II Certification required.
• Experience completing residential equipment change-outs and system replacements.
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC installation practices.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality.
• Professional customer communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Replace residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and indoor coils.
• Complete HVAC system change-outs and equipment installations.
• Perform system startup, testing, and final operational checks.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and company installation standards.
• Maintain clean and safe customer homes and jobsites.
• Explain equipment operation and completed work to homeowners.
• Complete required project documentation using company technology.
• Coordinate with installation teammates and office staff to keep projects moving efficiently.

What You'll Do

As a Residential HVAC Installer, you'll complete heating and cooling equipment replacements while making sure each project meets Horne's standards for quality and professionalism.

Your work will include:
