Horne Heating and Air Conditioning in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installation Technician to install heating and cooling systems, replacements, and related equipment. You will work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a limited on-call rotation and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• EPA Universal or EPA Type II Certification is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and installation knowledge.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Own basic HVAC installation tools.

Responsibilities

• Install residential heating and cooling systems, including complete system replacements.
• Replace furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and indoor coils.
• Perform equipment start-up, testing, and system verification.
• Ensure installations meet company quality standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites.
• Communicate project updates and operating instructions with homeowners.
• Complete installation paperwork accurately using company technology.
• Work independently or alongside other installers to complete projects efficiently.
• Represent Horne Heating and Air Conditioning with professionalism on every job.
