Job summary

Magnolia Plumbing, LLC is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Install Technician to join our growing HVAC Install Department in the Washington, DC area. You will install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, read plans, and ensure quality workmanship while delivering excellent customer service in occupied homes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with gas furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, boilers, and ductless systems, EPA/CFC certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• EPA/CFC certification required or equivalent.
• Journeyman HVAC license preferred; licensing varies by locality.
• Experience with gas furnaces, heat pumps, ACs, air handlers, boilers, and ductless systems.
• Strong knowledge of installation procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems in homes.
• Read plans, blueprints, and manufacturer specs to ensure proper setup.
• Install ductwork, refrigerant lines, condensate drains, thermosta ts, and controls.
• Test start-ups, verify operation, and troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Communicate progress and needs to supervisors and homeowners.
