Job summary

Airtron in Charlotte, NC is hiring a Residential HVAC Field Service Specialist to diagnose, repair, and start up home heating and cooling systems. You will stock your vehicle, communicate with customers, and document results throughout each call.

Must have 1+ year HVAC experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. The role involves travel to occupied homes and construction sites with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year HVAC service experience required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Soldering/brazing proficiency required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Inspect ductwork and ensure tools/materials are in safe condition.
• Identify, wire, commission, and start up complete residential systems; record results.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform repairs.
• Explain services performed and repair recommendations to customers and dispatch.
• Coordinate daily scheduling with the office to optimize routes.
• Order parts in advance and arrive prepared for each call.
• Transport parts and tools to job sites; maintain accountability.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Debrief each service call with dispatch and the customer.
