Job summary

Airtron is seeking a dedicated HVAC technician to service, repair, and install residential heating and cooling systems. The role involves driving to occupied homes, inspecting equipment, performing repairs, and documenting work on a tablet.

You’ll coordinate with dispatch, maintain safety standards, and ensure customer satisfaction on every visit. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year HVAC experience, EPA certification, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Soldering and brazing ability.
• Effective English communication, written and verbal.
• Basic computer/tablet skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Inspect and maintain ducting and company tools/materials to ensure they remain serviceable.
• Identify, wire, and commission complete residential HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and perform repairs to restore proper operation.
• Perform start-ups, test system performance, and record results to verify proper functionality.
• Coordinate daily schedule with the office and prepare required parts for each appointment.
• Transport parts, materials, and tools to job sites and account for assigned inventory.
• Complete all required paperwork/tablet entries neatly and on time.
• Debrief each service visit with dispatch/customers and attach all supporting documentation.
