Job summary

IES Residential is seeking an experienced Energy Code Compliance Specialist to prepare Florida Energy Gauge documentation for new residential projects. You will run Manual J/S/D calculations alongside EnergyGauge modeling and ensure compliance with the Florida Building Code Energy Conservation requirements.

You will coordinate with HVAC designers, review plans, and submit complete audit-ready files for permitting and plan review.

Qualifications

• 2+ years using Florida Energy Gauge for residential projects.
• Hands-on experience with Manual J, S, and D calculations.
• Familiarity with Florida Building Code energy provisions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Florida Energy Gauge compliance reports for residential projects.
• Coordinate J, S, D data with EnergyGauge inputs.
• Review plans to extract envelope, glazing, insulation data.
• Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code Energy Conservation.
• Generate documentation for permits and plan review.
• Maintain organized audit-ready project files.
• Stay updated on code, energy cycles, and EnergyGauge updates.
