Job summary

Airtron seeks an HVAC service technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair residential heating and cooling systems in Houston, TX. You will partner with dispatch and operations to deliver top-tier service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, start-ups, diagnostics, and clear communication with customers. The role requires safety-minded professionals ready to work indoors and outdoors in varied weather, with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Certification required.
• HVAC trade school certification preferred.
• Solder/Brazing proficiency
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Beginner computing skills; able to use a computer/tablet
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work overtime with short notice; occasional weekends

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair residential heating and air conditioning equipment; commission complete systems including identification, wiring, and start-up.
• Test and record results to verify proper operation.
• Troubleshoot issues, recommend solutions, and execute repairs.
• Explain services and repairs to customers and flag concerns to dispatch.
• Coordinate with office for routing; order parts and prepare materials.
• Complete tablet-based paperwork neatly and on time; document work with photos if applicable.
