Job summary

Airtron is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain and repair heating and air systems in residential settings. You will inspect ductwork, identify wiring needs, perform start-ups, and troubleshoot issues to ensure proper operation.

Dependable communication with dispatch and customers is essential, along with safe operation of tools and PPE. The role requires 1+ HVAC service experience, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ HVAC service experience.
• EPA Certification.
• Solder/Brazing skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Beginner computing skills and able to use a computer, laptop or tablet.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Overtime with little notice; weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair heating and air equipment.
• Inspect and maintain ducting and materials/equipment.
• Identify, wire, and start-up complete residential systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues to keep equipment functioning.
• May perform start-ups, testing & recording results for each system.
• Coordinate with office for day-to-day work schedule.
• Order parts for appointments and ensure readiness for the day.
• Transport parts and tools to job site and document items.
• Complete paperwork neatly and timely.
• Debrief all services with dispatch/customer and document.
• Ensure cleanliness after job completion.
• Maintain company vehicle and PPE.
• Adhere to safety policies and company standards.
