Job summary

Westwind Recovery in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dependable Housing Technician to support clients in our residential housing program. The role combines direct client support, transportation, facility oversight, and accurate documentation.

The position requires a valid driver's license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. You will transport clients to appointments, complete intakes, and maintain safe, tour-ready residences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for client transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Strong judgment, reliability, communication skills, and respect for client confidentiality.
• Ability to respond calmly to changing situations and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients safely to appointments, activities, and outings.
• Complete housing intakes and monitor client activities, passes, and adherence to house expectations.
• Conduct assigned room checks and drug testing in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain clean, orderly, tour‑ready residences through daily walkthroughs and follow‑up on chores.
• Observe and report client concerns, document activities, and communicate updates to the housing team.
• Monitor vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company procedures for medication administration and logging, as assigned.
