Front Porch in Oakland, CA is hiring for a full-time Housekeeping & Laundry Aide. Position is hourly, 36+ hours per week with benefits. Pay range is $23.00–$26.00 per hour. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Requires a High School diploma or GED and at least 3 months of prior work experience. Duties include housekeeping, laundry processing, and providing excellent resident service. Competitive benefits are offered for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 3 Months any prior work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service to residents, families, coworkers and vendors.
• Dust furniture, wash walls and windows, clean floors and surfaces.
• vacuum, clean carpets and draperies, rearrange small furniture as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays; transport trash to disposal area.
• Clean lobbies, lounges, restrooms, elevators and hallways as scheduled.
• Report needs for repair and complete maintenance orders as necessary.
• Assist with laundry and linens; perform linen processing and sanitation.
