Job summary

Central Bethany is seeking a dedicated Residential Cleaner to join the opening team at Hyas Point, a 276-unit luxury waterfront community in Washougal, WA. You will help launch a brand-new Class A property and maintain spotless common areas and apartment homes.

The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, full-time, with hourly pay between $21.50 and $22.00. Training and safety procedures are provided; reliability and attention to detail are essential as you support resident experience.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial or apartment community experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the shift.
• Comfort with cleaning products, tools and equipment.
• Reliable attendance and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written instructions, safety guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, offices, restrooms, clubhouse, fitness center, mailroom and other shared spaces.
• Perform deep cleaning and move-in preparation for vacant apartment homes.
• Vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect surfaces, empty trash and recycling, and clean windows as needed.
• Spot-clean high-touch areas and assist with minor tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
• Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning products and chemicals.
• Help maintain a clean, attractive, and litter-free property.
• Communicate professionally with residents, vendors and team members.
• Complete cleaning assignments independently and as part of a team while following established standards and checklists.
