Ability Beyond Barriers is seeking a Full-Time Residential House Manager in Little River, SC, to lead a home and support a dedicated team. The role involves directing Direct Support Professionals, ensuring quality, respectful, individualized care focused on independence and community participation.

You will oversee health, safety, documentation, and emergencies, coaching staff, and maintaining a welcoming home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Residential I/DD experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• The ability to coach employees, manage competing demands, and protect confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Lead and support Direct Support Professionals.
• Coordinate staffing schedules and residential coverage.
• Help employees understand and follow each person’s individualized support plan.
• Promote personal choice, privacy, dignity, and community participation.
• Oversee health, safety, medication, documentation, and emergency procedures.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming home.
• Review records and ensure required documentation is accurate and completed on time.
• Communicate with residents, families, guardians, case managers, clinicians, and other service partners.
• Respond to after-hours or emergency needs as assigned.
