Job summary

Progressive Careers & Housing, Inc. seeks a House Manager to join our residential team in Mt. Vernon, IL. This full-time, on-call position leads a facility design to support clients with developmental disabilities and staff to deliver daily supports.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, supervise DSPs, coordinate ISPs, and maintain essential records. Strong communication and discretion are required, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Direct Support Professional or enroll in the course and become certified.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with developmentally disabled persons preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
• Willingness to follow supervision and policies and handle sensitive information discreetly.
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CILAs comply with policies, state and federal rules and coordinate updates.
• Maintain house appearance and ensure supplies and programs are stocked.
• Provide staff training and support to residents in daily activities.
• Implement ISP plans and review resident needs with QIDP for appropriate services.
• Maintain required documentation and monitor staffing patterns for the home.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and coordinate on-the-job training and evaluations.
• Offer opportunities for community integration while upholding residents' rights and safety.
