Job summary

Volunteers of America Mid-States is seeking a Home Manager to oversee a supported living home for individuals with developmental disabilities in Northern Kentucky. You will supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals across all shifts and ensure daily operations meet VOA policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, experience in human services, and supervisory experience. The position is full-time and exempt.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience in working in Human Services or related field.
Supervisory and direct-care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintains safety of home environment and cleanliness while following VOA policies.
Supervise and assist consumers to live wholesome, productive lives with opportunities to achieve their vision.
Perform all training of Direct Support Professionals per mandated curriculum as required by state and VOA policy.
Perform all other duties as required by the Residential Coordinator.
Accompany consumers to scheduled or emergency medical appointments/consultations.
Attend Interdisciplinary Team Meetings/Circles of Support as assigned by Residential Coordinator.
Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly documentation to assure compliance with PCISP and state regulations.
Train all staff to Specific Individualized Training per PCISP.
Plan and coordinate leisure, recreational and social activities.
Assist consumers in maintaining relationships with family, friends, and guardians.
