Thielsch Engineering is seeking a Residential Heat Pump Installer in Worcester, MA. You will install and service heat pump systems and HVAC controls for a range of residential setups, focusing on reliability and customer satisfaction.

A Journeyman refrigeration license in MA or RI and EPA certification are required. You will perform inspections, routine maintenance, and urgent repairs while documenting work and collaborating with teammates to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Journeyman refrigeration license in MA or RI.
• EPA universal certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Sheetmetal experience; license is a plus.
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

Description

As a Residential Heat Pump Installer, you will install and maintain all makes and models of HVAC equipment. You will also install and service HVAC control systems. In your position you will focus on residential heat pump installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Heat Pump inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify issues. Also, conduct inspections of furnaces and boilers to identify and address issues promptly.


• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and replacing filters, lubricating parts, and checking system efficiency.


• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems, furnaces, and boilers, including electrical and mechanical components.


• Collaborate with customers to explain system issues, provide recommendations, and ensure customer satisfaction.


• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.


• Stay updated on industry advancements and attend training sessions to enhance technical skills.


• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on HVAC systems.


• Provide on-call support for emergency repair and maintenance as needed.


• Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
