Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join our growing HVAC team in Florida.

This hands-on role installs, maintains, and repairs residential heating and cooling systems while delivering quality service to homeowners and coordinating with other technicians and project teams. You will read blueprints and schematics, verify electrical and plumbing connections, and ensure work complies with HVAC codes, safety requirements, and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC technical certification, trade school, or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
• Experience installing and servicing furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, and ductless equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of current HVAC codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.
• Prepare job sites for HVAC installations and verify required electrical and plumbing connections.
• Diagnose system issues and perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other technicians to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners and address questions or concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good working condition.
• Follow all required safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site.
