Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is hiring a Porter to maintain outdoor features of a residential property in Maryland. The role covers landscaping, lawn care, snow and ice removal, trash removal, and upkeep of common areas like pools, club rooms, and lighting.

You’ll support residents with professional service and help ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include mowing, edging, pruning, irrigation maintenance, and seasonal plantings while adhering to SOPs and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or Trade School diploma and one year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance.
• Efficient reading of instructions and documenting labor and materials.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the physical condition of the property per SOPs and safety standards.
• Removes trash and debris from common areas on a continuous basis.
• Sweeps and removes debris from curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways.
• Maintains and repairs loose stairwell treads and exterior lighting.
• Mows lawns and removes clippings; handles leaves and debris in landscaped areas.
• Maintains irrigation systems, pool and spa equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Knows emergency procedures and promotes safety awareness for residents.
• Assists in snow removal and maintains a professional appearance.
