A leading glazing company in Honolulu is seeking an Estimator responsible for delivering top-notch customer experiences in-home and/or showroom. Key tasks include interacting with customers, measuring spaces, generating shop drawings, and preparing quotations. Candidates should have a construction background, be skilled in communication, and hold a valid driver’s license. The role offers a salary plus commission ranging from $50K to $90K annually, along with benefits after probation.

Competenze

• Construction background preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure preferred.
• Understanding of Square, Level, and Plumb preferred.
• All candidates must pass initial background check and screening exam.
• Valid driver's license.

Mansioni

• Interact with customers in the home and/or showroom to develop understanding of customer needs.
• Make proactive suggestions of company products & services.
• Convey and manage realistic customer expectations.
• Accurately measure rough openings/space for pricing and ordering.
• Generate legible and accurate shop drawings for quotes/jobs.
• Develop professional quotation(s) and present to customer(s).
• Follow up with customers on pending sales quotes.
• Communicate with company vendors for material ordering.

Conoscenze

Excellent verbal/written communications skills

Experience with estimating, fabricating, and/or installing residential glass products

Hardworking, motivated, with excellent organizational and time-management skills
