Job summary

Teague Electric seeks an experienced Generator Technician to install, service, and maintain residential standby generators in the Kansas City area. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, explain operation to homeowners, and ensure work areas are clean and code‑compliant.

Qualifications

1–5+ years of generator installation and service experience.
Experience with liquid-cooled and air-cooled generator systems.
Kohler and/or Generac certifications strongly preferred.
Experience installing and maintaining residential generators.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC code, and wiring methods.
Valid driver’s license with a good record.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and maintain residential standby generators
Troubleshoot generators and related electrical systems
Help homeowners understand system operation and recommended service
Respect customer’s homes by keeping work areas clean and completing safe, code‑compliant work
