Job summary

Teague Electric seeks an experienced Generator Technician to install, service, and maintain residential standby generators in the Kansas City area. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, explain operation to homeowners, and ensure work areas are clean and code‑compliant.

Training and certifications are provided to grow with the team. We offer a competitive pay scale ($26–$34/hour) with overtime potential and performance bonuses, a Monday–Friday schedule, and strong company culture that

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of generator installation and service experience.
• Experience with liquid-cooled and air-cooled generator systems.
• Kohler and/or Generac certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience installing and maintaining residential generators.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, NEC code, and wiring methods.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.

What We’re Looking For
