Southern Home Services is seeking a Service Electrician/Generator Technician to manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems, with a focus on generator services. You will diagnose problems and provide high-quality service.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 2 years of experience, generator systems knowledge, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to work overtime. A company vehicle and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar role with generator systems experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Willingness to overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for residential systems.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot generator systems.
• Diagnose electrical issues and recommend safe solutions.
• Interact with customers to explain issues and solutions.
• Perform light maintenance on related plumbing, HVAC/R as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Inspect systems for hazards and defects and document work.
