Job summary

Overhead Door Company of Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Residential Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service residential garage doors on customer sites. You will provide estimates, coordinate with parts and sales, and complete work orders while driving to client locations Monday through Friday with potential on-call and overtime.

The role is full-time with a 7:30am–4:00pm schedule and requires a valid driver’s license. Benefits include Health/Dental, Paid Vacations, and Holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred, but not required.
• Strong safety mindset with basic certifications are assets.
• Outstanding customer service, communication, and professionalism.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues and carry out solutions on residential garage doors and correlating equipment
• Provide accurate and timely estimates on hours and costs of repairs and replacements
• Coordinate with the parts and sales to ensure customers’ needs are met
• Complete work orders on computer-based documentation
• Drive safely and efficiently from customer to customer
• Other duties, as assigned
