Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking a Flooring Installer in Boston, MA. The role requires loading materials, visiting customer homes, removing old flooring, installing new floors, and finishing with a clean site.

You will collect paperwork and payments and return to the warehouse. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule starting at 6:30 AM, with a pay range of $21–$26 per hour, depending on background and location.

Qualifications

• Experience installing flooring, remodeling, or carpentry work.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to the customer’s home, greet them, establish rapport.
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home.

Purpose Of Position
The Flooring Installer will assist in performing safe and effective installations following all Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and PPE protocol while providing customers with a 5-star experience.
Key Role Accountabilities

• Arrive at warehouse by 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks
• Travel to customer’s home, greet them, and establish rapport
• Demo and remove existing flooring, install replacement floors, and replace trim
• Clean up thoroughly, showing care for the customer’s home
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to warehouse
  

Compensation

• The approximate hourly for this position is $21-26 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience installing window/doors, carpentry, remodeling, construction – or a hunger to learn!
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
