Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers provide a seamless start to finish consultative design service that builds lasting relationships and brand loyalty with the customers we serve. They meet with customers, listen to project needs, educate them on requirements, and build a design concept that reflects personal style, lifestyle, and budget.

The role involves greeting customers, scheduling appointments, advising on tile/wood/stone, and managing projects through installation while collaborating with store

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design or retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele through referrals.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessories advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple customer projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
