Job summary

Floor & Decor Designers are responsible for delivering seamless, end-to-end consultative design services, guiding customers through needs assessment, budgeting, and concept creation. You will educate clients on products and processes, and build lasting relationships that drive brand loyalty.

The role emphasizes meeting with customers, understanding personal style, lifestyle, and budget to craft cohesive design concepts using tile, wood, stone, and accessories.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year interior design OR retail/sales experience.
• Design degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of hard surface flooring is a plus.
• Proficient in basic mathematical skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet store customers and support design walk-in needs.
• Schedule design appointments and develop clientele.
• Provide tile, wood, stone and accessory advice for residential and commercial projects.
• Design and sell complete, functional, aesthetically appealing solutions.
• Manage multiple projects with accuracy and timely follow-up.
