Job summary

Community Associates is seeking a compassionate Residential Flex Support Specialist to provide person-centered support to adults with developmental disabilities in multiple staffed homes. You will adapt to different environments while maintaining consistent, high-quality supports.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record.
  • Proof of automobile insurance meeting agency requirements.
  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for work transport.
  • Ability to complete background checks and agency training.

  • Provide direct support in multiple residential homes based on staffing needs.
  • Build positive relationships promoting dignity, independence, and self-determination.
  • Assist with activities of daily living: personal care, meals, household tasks, communication, healthy living.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For:

  • Proof of automobile insurance meeting agency requirements.

  • Ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related transportation.

  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks and agency training.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or in human services.

  • Residential or community-based support experience.

  • Experience with electronic health records or electronic documentation systems.

  • CPR, First Aid, Safety Care, and Medication Administration certifications, or willingness to obtain.

Job Structure and Compensation

Schedule: Guaranteed Sunday and Monday off with a weekly schedule that is adjusted based on operational needs of the multiple residential sites. The hours would include day, evening and overnight. 40 hours/week


Pay: $26.50/hour
