Job summary

Seven Hills Community Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional II for a regular part-time role in North Reading, MA. The position offers an hourly wage with differentials based on location and qualifications and a weekday schedule from 9am to 3pm.

You will empower individuals to live meaningful, independent lives in their communities, following ISP and Behavior Support Plans, and supporting daily living activities, health needs, and community participation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED/HiSET required.
  • Active US driver's license issued from your state of residence required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support and care to individuals in a residential setting.
  • Help individuals build independence by teaching life skills at home and in the community.
  • Follow and implement Individual Support Plans (ISP) and Behavior Support Plans.
  • Assist with personal care, medication administration, and health-related needs.
  • Support individuals in community activities, relationships, and social connections.
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and ensure overall health and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track progress and outcomes.
  • Take a leadership role by training and mentoring other staff.

Pay: $20.50-$24.50/awake hours (see below for range details) ; $17.50/asleep hours


Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-3pm; Mandatory Staff Meeting every 3rd Tuesday 12:30p-2:30p.

Starting pay is $20.50/hour, with additional differentials based on location and qualifications. Cape-based programs offer a $1/hour differential. Martha’s Vineyard programs offer a $4/hour differential, with the exception of the Franklin Street program, which offers $3/hour. An additional $1/hour differential is available for employees with active MAP certification, except at non–Franklin Street programs on Martha’s Vineyard.


All asleep hours are paid at a flat rate of $17.50/hour.
