Open Doors is seeking a Residential Financial Coordinator to play a key role in managing participant funds, financial tracking, and compliance—while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Position Overview

The Residential Financial Coordinator is responsible for a wide range of financial coordination tasks, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, participant funds, taxes, financial reporting, and analysis. This role also collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures and provides support to executive leadership.

Essential Functions

• Track residents’ expenses and reconcile them with receipts
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and state guardianship for:
  • Personal spending
  • Room and board
  • Quarterly Resident Trust Accounts (RTA)
  • Deposit checks to the company bank
• Create spreadsheets each month on specific dates according to:
  • Room and board
  • Personal spending
  • Stipend payments
• Conduct monthly audits of room and board, personal spending, and stipend payments
• Understand and work with participant funds systems RFMS
• Track and monitor FHP payments
• Perform other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

• No supervisory responsibilities
