Job summary

CLEAResult in Maine is hiring a Residential Field Specialist to support Efficiency Maine’s residential programs. You will conduct on-site verifications, provide technical guidance, and promote best practices for energy efficiency installations across a multi-city territory.

The role blends field visits with occasional remote work, requires a high school diploma, and offers training plus competitive hourly pay with benefits. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel.

Job Description

Field based role within Biddeford, Saco, Portland, South Portland or Westbrook Maine. We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Residential Field Specialist to work in support of Efficiency Maine’s residential efficiency programs. The Specialist will play an important role in making sure these programs are delivered effectively and in a manner that “drives verifiable, cost-effective energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.” The Specialist’s responsibilities will include finding ways to improve the programs, collecting best practices to share amongst a network of hundreds of Trade Allies, and to promote quality installations and conducting various tasks in support of other Efficiency Maine pilots, studies or evaluations. You will act as local program and company representative to residential customers. Conduct virtual/on- site energy efficiency inspections, conduct weatherization and heat pump post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.

This is a hybrid remote/in-field position that requires the use of a personal vehicle for company travel, but you will be reimbursed for the mileage.

DOT Requirements

Compensation Range

$23.80 - $35.80 Currency USD Type Hourly. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example. CLEAResult will not provide sponsorship or support for immigration status or work authorization including for international students. Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support. Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.
