Job summary

ROME GROUP is seeking a Facilities Manager – Residential Maintenance to lead a multi-home maintenance team, oversee field Technicians, and ensure timely, quality repairs across client homes and the main office. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on capability.

You will balance supervisory duties with at least 50% hands-on work, manage on-call rotations, coordinate with vendors, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience leading a team in a related field required.
• Experience in carpentry, electrical work, painting, or related maintenance.
• Project management experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and field tech tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing facilities team; assign work tickets and monitor progress.
• Schedule and manage on-call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Direct hands-on maintenance duties (50% field time) while supervising others.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and remodeling repairs and installations.
• Coordinate with landlords and clients on repair scopes and costs.
• Ensure safety compliance, quality workmanship, and timely service delivery.
