American Campus Communities seeks a Service Technician for Avalon Heights in Tampa, FL. This role supports maintenance tasks, executes work orders, and backs preventative maintenance to ensure a well-kept property for residents.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential facilities maintenance, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to grow within ACC’s facilities team across properties. On-site role with opportunities for certification and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential facilities maintenance.
• Ability to perform maintenance tasks and execute work orders.
• Willingness to assist with preventative maintenance and property upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders in a timely manner with quality and efficiency.
• Close out work orders in the system and track activities.
• Assist in property turn process and coordinate with vendors.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maintain operations.
• Inspect public areas and resident apartments for maintenance standards.
• Safely operate, maintain, and repair facility equipment following safety protocols.
• Escort vendors on-site and facilitate their work as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized shop, storage, and back-of-house areas.
