Job summary

S:US is seeking a maintenance and cleaning professional to oversee quality cleanliness across assigned buildings in a residential program setting. You will perform floor care, bathroom cleaning, trash handling, and light repairs while supporting events and ensuring a safe, presentable environment.

Responsibilities include exterior upkeep, inventory management, and assisting with apartment turnovers. Minimum 1 year in maintenance, a NY driver’s license, and interpersonal skills are preferred;

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance & cleaning experience in a large residential or program setting.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Minimum one year experience working with mentally ill individuals within a residential or scatter-site program.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas within the facility, including floors, bathrooms, and trash/recycling areas.
• Carry out minor repairs and building maintenance throughout assigned areas.
• Exterior snow and ice removal and upkeep of grounds and building exterior.
• Assist staff with events by setting up seating areas ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain maintenance tools and machinery; order supplies and manage biweekly inventory if needed.
• Assist with moving and storing program supplies and furniture as required.
