Job summary

S:US is seeking a reliable Maintenance & Cleaning Associate in New York to ensure cleanliness and upkeep of assigned building(s) and exterior areas. You will perform floor care, bathroom cleaning, trash removal, and basic repairs as part of daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with events, maintaining tools, and ordering supplies if needed. A minimum one year of related experience and good interpersonal skills are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance & cleaning experience in a large residential or program setting.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in assigned areas within the facility, including floor care and bathrooms.
• Carry out minor repairs and building maintenance.
• Responsible for exterior snow and ice removal and grounds upkeep.
• Assist staff with events by setting up chairs and tables and ensuring the area is clean and safe.
• Maintain maintenance tools and inventory biweekly when there is no superintendent.
