Job summary

BRC is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to maintain and repair residential and common areas, ensuring safety and operational performance across multiple sites. You will handle preventive maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs, contributing to a welcoming environment for clients and staff.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, with a strong focus on safety, documentation in CMMS, and collaboration with program staff and vendors.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in facilities/building maintenance or related trades.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, and general repairs.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and work orders.
• Ability to troubleshoot facility issues and perform repairs independently.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with leadership or vendors as needed.
• Keep tools and work areas safe, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
• Support room turnovers and facility improvement projects.
