• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Two years as a skilled Janitor Helper or cleaning/maintenance specialist for a residential property.
• Certifications: Valid Driver's License and vehicle insurance acceptable to the University.
• Computer skills: Ability to learn software used in managing service requests and time logging.

Responsibilities

• Common Space Cleaning and Service: Clean common spaces, replace bulbs, reset breakers, and perform minor repairs.
• Apartment Turnover: Clean apartments and storage lockers and handle minor repairs.
• First-Level Customer Service: Provide customer service to residents, assist with move-in orientations and show apartments.
• Service Coordination: Post and deliver notices, provide access for contractors and staff.
• Grounds Maintenance: Perform landscaping and snow removal as per protocols.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist with inspections, logs, and minor equipment service.
• Emergency Response: On-call 24/7 for emergencies and snow shoveling tasks.
