Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc. is seeking a Residential Energy Product Strategy Intern in Minnesota to support strategy and experience for residential energy programs and rebates.

You will work with a team of energy product strategy experts to deliver delivery and results on 1 to 3 key projects in your area. As part of the internship, you will learn how Xcel Energy aligns customers' energy needs with environmental targets, while gaining exposure to product and service offerings across channels.

Qualifications

• Current student, Junior or higher
• Enrolled in accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Business, Environmental Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Communications, Management, Business Administration, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, or related fields
• Able to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) in-person per hybrid policy

Responsibilities

• Facilitate journey mapping sessions to understand how customers engage with Xcel Energy products and services
• Support and manage project plans guiding customers through purchase journeys for residential programs and rebates across digital experiences
• Collaborate with technical teams to analyze energy data and understand systems enabling our programs and rebates
• Assist with RFPs and other filings as needed
