Job summary

We Energies in Racine, Wisconsin, seeks a Residential Energy Services Consultant (RESC) to be the primary customer contact for residential and small commercial services, including outages, energy quality issues, new services, outdoor lighting, rewiring, relocations, and billing inquiries for gas and electric customers.

The role requires strong customer focus, service coordination, and knowledge of energy programs. The position is based in Racine and falls under the We Energies operations group.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, marketing, business administration, project management or finance (or equivalent).
• Four years of Wisconsin Field Operations experience including customer service and clerical support (in lieu of degree).
• At least three years of customer contact experience.
• Valid driver's license and meet company driving requirements.
• Transcripts required and should be provided with application or to HR within ten days of posting.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to discuss needs and service concerns.
• Coordinate service with homeowners, developers, contractors, and municipalities to establish new/expanded service.
• Counsel customers on service options and pricing.
• Create, send, and track work requests, applications, and correspondence to customers and contractors.
• Coordinate installations, negotiate timelines, and determine required-by dates.
