Job summary

Rise Group Inc. seeks a Residential Energy Specialist to perform scheduled home energy assessments for utilities and program sponsors. You will identify energy-saving measures, present work plans, and secure homeowner approvals while coordinating rebates and financing options.

With company support, you will pursue BPI Building Analyst certification within six months of hire, traveling daily to residential locations in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• Two years of residential construction or energy-efficiency experience.
• Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.
• Background check and drug screening eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough residential energy audits evaluating insulation, appliances, HVAC, lighting, and more.
• Perform on-site energy tests on combustion appliances and install instant-savings measures.
• Explain energy-efficiency recommendations and secure homeowner approvals.
• Use software to prepare on-site assessment reports.
• Coordinate rebates and financing options for customers.
• Follow up with homeowners to ensure satisfaction.
• Work toward BPI Building Analyst certification within six months.
