Job summary

One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Seattle seeks licensed electricians to oversee residential electrical administration and field electrical work for HVAC installations.

This two-role position requires WA 02 Electrical Administrator and a WA 02 Residential Specialty Electrician or 01 Journeyman, with strong NEC knowledge and electrical expertise in HVAC settings.

Qualifications

• Current Washington 02 Residential Electrical Administrator certificate is required.
• Current Washington 02 Residential Specialty Electrician certificate, or 01 Journeyman, required.
• Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Washington amendments.
• Residential service and panel experience; HVAC-related electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run dedicated circuits, disconnects, and wires for heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and condensers.
• Perform panel upgrades, service changes, and load calculations for electrification projects.
• Pull permits and coordinate L&I inspections for residential work.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on residential HVAC systems with service and install teams.
• Mentor install crew and apprentices on electrical best practices.

The Role

This position has two parts:

• 02 Electrical Administrator. You'll serve as the company's designated Residential (02) Electrical Administrator with L&I, overseeing code compliance, permits, and inspections for our residential electrical work.
• 02 Journeyman. You'll be in the field doing the work, primarily supporting HVAC installs.

• Run dedicated circuits, disconnects, and whips for heat pumps, air handlers, furnaces, and condensers
• Perform panel upgrades, service changes, and load calculations to support electrification projects
• Pull permits and coordinate L&I inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on residential HVAC systems alongside our service and install teams
• Help mentor our install crew and apprentices on electrical best practices
• Keep job documentation clean and complete in ServiceTitan

What You Bring

• Current Washington 02 Residential Electrical Administrator certificate (required)
• Current Washington 02 Residential Specialty Electrician certificate, or 01 Journeyman (required)
• Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Washington amendments
• Residential service and panel experience; HVAC-related electrical experience is a big plus
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Professional, respectful demeanor in customers' homes
