Helix Electric is seeking a Residential Electrician (Roper) with a minimum of 2 years of roping experience to work on a project in Napa, CA. The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining and testing residential electrical wiring and equipment, reading specifications, and following building codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in roping.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of Building Codes.
• Proficiency with NM (Romex) and/or MC wiring methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in residential settings.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment.
• Installs or assists with installation of electrical components.
• Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification.
• Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate.
