Job summary

Helix Electric is seeking a dynamic Electrician to join a production-driven team, performing electrical installations and troubleshooting in commercial settings.

The role requires reading blueprints, installing components, and adhering to Building Codes. Candidates should have Journeyman Electrician Certification and be prepared for 8–10 hour days with potential overtime and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification is required where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of Building Codes and electrical standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
• Prepares work area for installation of equipment and reads drawings to install as specified.
• Installs electrical components and connects wiring per code and job specifications.
• Sets up and operates tools and equipment safely; uses boom lifts when certified.
• Be able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install as specified.
