Responsibilities

What Will I Do?

The Service Electrician provides electrical repairs and services, emphasizing quality, efficiency, and adherence to local and national codes. Deliver exceptional customer service by respecting customers and creating positive service experiences.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues
• Recommend repairs or replacements
• Install and replace customer-provided materials
• Perform repairs on items like light fixtures, switches, wiring, breakers, panels, and meters
• Conduct routine inspections
• Access various building areas safely
• Use necessary tools proficiently
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
• Complete all paperwork timely
• Upsell and educate customers on services
• Maintain inventory and tools in the company vehicle
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential/light commercial electrical work
• Valid driver’s license; electrical license a plus
• Fluent in English

Skills & Environment

Must have advanced electrical knowledge, safety awareness, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication, time management, and dependability are essential. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, traveling between locations, with physical activity including climbing, crawling, bending, and lifting.

The work involves typical safety precautions for electricians, working in various environments like homes, offices, hospitals, etc.
