Job summary

First Rate Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Residential Electrician with 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience. The role includes installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components, while ensuring safety and code compliance.

The position is full-time from 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. Benefits include employer-paid health insurance, a company vehicle, 401(k) match, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Residential, commercial, or HVAC electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.
• Electrical license (EE-98J) or relevant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Perform wiring, electrical connections, and equipment installations.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and according to applicable codes.
• Complete accurate documentation of work performed.
• Work independently while representing the company professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

$25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience

Full-Time | Albuquerque, NM

8 am – 5 pm | Monday-Friday | overtime as needed
