Job summary

Strada Services in North Carolina seeks a Residential Electrical Service Technician to diagnose and repair electrical problems in single- and multi-family properties, following the National Electrical Code and local building codes. You will work directly with homeowners to explain issues and proposed upgrades, and you will use Service Titan and other tools to generate accurate estimates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical wiring, repair and troubleshooting all aspects of the Electrical System preferred.
• FEAT or other Electrical Apprenticeship Training preferred.
• Journeyman's certification preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify hazards or defects, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems on structural wiring, service equipment, receptacles, switches, and light fixtures.
• Perform repairs or replace per manufacture recommendations while adhering to the National Electrical Code standards, recommended practices, and guides.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and scissor lifts to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Engage with homeowners to inform them of issues and needed repairs, replacement, or appropriate upgrades to be completed at that time or at a schedule time.
• Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
• Effectively communicate with all customers, building officials and internal office support staff.
