Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
• FEAT or electrical apprenticeship training preferred.
• Journeyman certification preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, identify hazards or defects, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical problems on structural wiring, service equipment, receptacles, switches, and light fixtures.
• Perform repairs or replacements per manufacturer recommendations while adhering to NEC standards.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, and lifts to install, maintain or repair wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
• Engage with homeowners to inform them of issues and needed repairs or upgrades.
• Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
• Effectively communicate with customers, building officials, and internal staff.
